Penn State Mont Alto 87, Penn State Scranton 68

Mont Alto, Pa- Mont Alto men's basketball went up against Penn State Scranton for a USCAA matchup. A very close game in the beginning turned out to be a Mont Alto win after a strong second half from Caleb Eckert, scoring 17 of his 20 points.

How it Happened

-Penn State Scranton would come out firing, making their lead 8-1 early in the first half with two 3-point shots.

-Scranton would pull away again making the score 18-9, Mont Alto would respond later, tying the game at 23 with 8 minutes left in the first half.

-Caleb Eckert would get the second half started with a 3-pointer only 7 seconds into the second half giving Mont Alto a 41-33 lead.

- Mont Alto would stay strong in the second half with dunks from Veron Talla which gave Mont Alto the momentum and the energy to win the game.

Mont Alto Leaders:

Caleb Eckert- 20 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists

Jonathan Pang- 19 points, 2 rebounds

Veron Talla- 18 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals

Scranton Leaders:

Fhenyx Scutt- 20 points, 7 assists

Jaiden Wiggins- 17 points, 5 rebounds

Zyeir Olasewere- 13 points, 5 rebounds
