Volleyball Drops Out of Conference Matchup with SUNY Potsdam
Paul Smiths, NY ~ The Paul Smith's College Women's Volleyball Team battled hard on Tuesday night at home in the Saunders Gym but ultimately fell to NCAA Division III SUNY Potsdam in straight sets.
Despite the loss, sophomore standout Finnley Jacobson (Vergennes, VT) was dominant up front in all three sets, delivering an impressive 15 kills, 23 digs, six solo blocks, and four assists. Jordan Louis (Crystal, NM) contributed 12 assists while Maddi Rhodes (Charlotte, NC) added five kills and 17 digs. Alli Cherry (Grasonville, MD) had 23 digs, five assists, and four kills while Kaliyah Davis (Queensbury, NY) played a key role in the back row, contributing 23 digs, three assists, and two kills.
The team sits at 11-6 overall and have the hardest strength of schedule in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association.
The Bobcats will enjoy a week of rest before l returning to action on Tuesday, October 22nd for their final regular season game at 6pm in the Saunders Gym.
