Huskies Host Knights

Pottersville, NY—As the end of the regular season approached, the Huskies hosted the Knights from Vermont State University Randolph on Wednesday evening. The Huskies were looking to end a conference skid and grab an important victory.

The Knights were able gain control of the game halfway through the first half, led by starters Tyler Allen and Jaylon Clark. Both Knights scored 14 points in the first half, as they built a lead as many as 11 points. The Huskies brought it to 7 points at halftime, led by Hayden Jordan with 10 points in the first half.

The Huskies continued to battle in the second half bringing the lead to just 4 points with under eight minutes to play. However, the Knights seemed to have an answer for each of the Huskies' runs and closed out the game with a 75-66 win.

Tyler Allen led the game with 27 points and Jaylon Calvin added 24 points for the Knights. Efraim Marvin and Dan Morales led the Huskies with 13 points apiece. Blake Gossel game off the bench and added 8 points for the Huskies.

The Huskies will play again at home on Friday, February 7th against Vaughn College.
