Christendom College Clinches ESAC Championship with Dominant Win Over Central Penn College
Front Royal, VA – Christendom College capped off a stellar season by claiming the Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC) Championship with a 78-62 victory over Central Penn College. The Lady Crusaders delivered a complete performance in front of a roaring home crowd, with standout efforts from Mary Pennefather, Regina Bonvissuto, and Miranda Keller leading the way to their first ESAC title.

The Lady Crusaders delivered a complete performance in front of a roaring home crowd, with standout efforts from Mary Pennefather, Regina Bonvissuto, and Miranda Keller leading the way to their first ESAC title.
Mary Pennefather, who has been the team's leader all season, was once again at the forefront of the action, finishing with 24 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds on an efficient 9-of-15 shooting performance. Her ability to score and facilitate for her teammates helped propel Christendom to a dominant performance, as she controlled the tempo of the game from start to finish.
Regina Bonvissuto was on fire from beyond the arc, knocking down 5 three-pointers en route to 19 points on 6-of-12 shooting. Her perimeter shooting was a major factor in stretching the Central Penn defense and giving Christendom a comfortable lead throughout the game.
Catherine Thomas contributed a solid 16 points, while Miranda Keller was a force in the paint, pulling down a staggering 22 rebounds in addition to her 8 points. Keller's rebounding effort was particularly crucial in limiting Central Penn's second-chance opportunities and ensuring Christendom controlled the glass on both ends of the floor.
