New Kensington, PA – Our Beaver Lion's made a trip out to take on Penn State New Kensington in a close match. Beaver started out the game strong with 2 points earned by First-year, Ronyell Coston (Eastern Shore, VA) only 13 seconds into the match. This was followed by a scoring streak earning an additional 7 points for Beaver by Third-year, Trevor Franklin (Stafford, VA), Second-year, Jermaine Knaff (Quincy, IL), Second-year, Alex Green (Chicago, IL), and First-year, Ronyell Coston (Eastern Shore, VA). These efforts earned Beaver a 9-0 start to the game before New Kensington was able to claw any points for themselves. With 6 minutes left in the first half, Beaver made another push to regain lost distance between them and New Kensington. Second-year, Alex Green (Chicago, IL) made the first of these points earning Beaver 2 points and creating a 19-23 game. This would jump up to a 21-25 by Third-year, Trevor Franklin (Stafford, VA) with an assist from Third-year, Xavier Ryan (Philadelphia, PA).
