Beaver Takes Victory in Last Match of the Season

DuBois, PA – Penn State Beaver Women's Volleyball hit the road for a PSUAC conference match against Penn State DuBois. This was Beaver's last match of the season, and they were hoping to end their season with a win. 

Du Bois got off to a good start in the first set and they beat Beaver 25-21 to take a 1-0 lead in the match. Beaver responded with a fantastic second set. Beaver took an early 13-7 lead before going on a great run and winning the second set 25-12. In the third set both teams played well and traded the league back and forth multiple times. The score was close until the very end when Beaver won 25-23 and took a 2-1 lead in the match. The fourth set was much like the last one with both teams fighting hard for every point. DuBois was able to keep the set within two points until the score was 17-15 when Beaver scored a flurry of points to take the lead 22-15. This lead carried Beaver to a 25-16 set win and a 3-1 win in the last match of the season for the team!
