Women's Soccer Wins Huge Against Trinity Washington University

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. – Penn State Schuylkill Women's Soccer defeated NCAA Division III opponent Trinity Washington University, 19-0.

The trio of Zoë Gannon (Leesport, PA / Schuylkill Valley), Grace Fenstermacher (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Nativity BVM), and Nia Bronson (Pine Grove, PA / Pine Grove) accounted for 12 of Schuylkill's 15 first-period goals. Also contributing to the scoring in the opening period were Olivia Dress (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Schuylkill Haven), Nancy Le (Harrisburg, PA / Central Dauphin East), and Haley Sypniewski (Mount Carmel, PA / Mount Carmel Area).

In the second period, Evelyn Crall (Chillicothe, OH / Chillicothe), Gaby Navarro (Tampa, FL / Earl J. Lennard), and Isabelle Garcia (Kissimmee, FL / Southland Christian) each found the back of the net for Schuylkill.

Schuylkill dominated with a complete shutout, winning the shot count 37-0. Fenstermacher netted 5 goals for the second consecutive game. Gannon added 4, while Bronson finished with 3. Dress led the team with 3 assists.

Schuylkill (7-5-1 overall, 4-1 PSUAC) will host Penn State Mont Alto for their final regular season match on Saturday, October 26th.
