Muller, Oberholzer tally goals in non-conference loss to Berkeley-NJ

MONT ALTO, Pa.- Mont Alto men's soccer faced off against Berkeley-NJ in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon. Following a 2-2 halftime score, Berkeley capitalized with three second half goes to win 5-2.

 

IN GOAL

Berkeley- Jack Giannini W 2 saves

Mont Alto- Jawad Malik L 14 saves

 

HOW IT HAPPENED

-Mont Alto got on the board early on an unassisted tally from Wesley Muller in the fourth minute.

-Steven Urbes answered for Berkeley seven minutes later on a centered corner kick from Michael Paredes for a header goal.

-In the 36th minute, Devonte Henry cleared a ball into the offensive zone where Thomas Oberholzer finished off the pass defeating Giannini for a 2-1 advantage.

-Michael Paredes tied the game up in the 38th minute on an unassisted goal.

-Alejandro Mayorga would score the eventual winning goal in the 52nd minute on a pass from Kareem Davis. Berkeley added on two more goals in the 83rd minute.
