WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn State Schuylkill Men's Soccer fell in their road matchup to NCAA Division III opponent Penn College.
Schuylkill's defense effectively limited Penn College's scoring opportunities during the first 15 minutes of play. However, Penn College went on a quick run, scoring three goals within a span of four minutes, beginning at the 15:15 mark. Penn College continued to dominate throughout the first half, adding four more goals to their tally before halftime, resulting in a commanding 7-0 lead. By the end of the first half, Penn College had recorded 22 total shots.
Schuylkill managed to disrupt Penn College's momentum in the second half, allowing only eight shots during the period. Penn College scored their final goal of the game at the 81:09 mark. Schuylkill registered a total of three shots in the second half.
Schuylkill (0-4 overall, 0-0 PSUAC) will return home for their next matchup as they host Lancaster Bible College (JV) on Friday, September 13th.
