Fayette MBB suffers tough loss to PS Du Bois

Dubois, PA - Fayette men's basketball suffers a tough loss to PS Dubois

Men's basketball lost 81-59 to PSUAC west opponent PS Dubois on the road last weekend despite beating them a few weeks ago. The men's team still holds on to the 4th spot in the PSUAC West and can possibly take the 3rd spot with a strong finish to the season. Poor shooting in the first half hurt the team, but despite the loss, shooting in the second half was significantly better. The team saw second year guard Xavier Boyd lead them in scoring with 15 points and 3 steals on the defensive end. Torian, to no surprise, lead the both teams with 13 points. Fayette did have multiple players in double figures.

Coach Hendrick had this to say about the game, "We shot the ball very poorly in the first half and dug a hole we couldn't get out of. I appreciate how hard we worked to get back in the game, but we had a big deficit to overcome. John Loughrie did a great job during our comeback effort."

The MBB team looks to bounce back on Wednesday, February 8 against PS Beaver at 8:00 P.M. Wednesday is also the annual White Out Night!
