Volleyball Falls To Carlow in S

The Golden Eagles volleyball team fell to Carlow University, 3-0, on Saturday in the USCAA Tip Off Tournament at Penn State Beaver.

The Eagles fell in straight sets as the Celtics dominated at the net with 33 kills, while KSU Tusc could only convert on 18. Carlow dispatched the navy and gold with the closest set being the first, 25-19, 25-12, 25-12.

Taliyah Johnson had eight kills and 9 digs for the Eagles, Lizzy Keller had 11 digs, while Cami Kimple and Kylie Culbertson had seven and five serving aces respectively.

On Saturday, September 10, the Eagles now 4-2 on the season, travel to Penn State New Kensington for a tri match with the Lions and Westmoreland County Community College.
