The men's basketball team hosted PSU Mont Alto tonight in a western division matchup of the PSUAC. DuBois came out with energy that lasted throughout the entire game. Trading shot for shot with the visiting team DuBois would go down only 6 before heading into the locker room, 41-35.
A surge in the second half had DuBois fans on the edge of their seat for the entire 20 minutes of the 2nd half. DuBois would hit a few huge shots and outrebound Mont Alto by 7 for the game. With necessary fouls at the end of the game DuBois looked to take over the scoreboard, but Mont Alto would hold on for the win, 68-65.
Jaiquil Johnson would end the night with 22 points, Grant Grimaldi would drop in 10 points, and Beau Verdill would end up with 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals.
DuBois will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to PSU Beaver.
