MONT ALTO, Pa.- Mont Alto volleyball hosted Schuylkill on Friday evening and continued their winning streak, sweeping three sets to none. Gracie Vaughn recorded a team-high 15 kills on 21 attacks to pace the offense. Arianna Davey was highly efficient on the attack, scoring points on 8 of 9 attacks.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-Schuylkill gained early momentum going ahead 4-1 in set one. Ahead 9-8, Mont Alto seized momentum by winning the next six points to take a 15-8 lead. Mont Alto would take four of the final five points in the set, with Vaughn having two kills late to take set one 25-17.

-Mont Alto continued to cruise in set two, taking 12 of the first 13 points in the set. Mont Alto would win set two 25-8.

-Ahead 11-3 in set three, Schuylkill registered kills from Maddy Robinson and Sydney Morton to cut the Mont Alto lead to 11-6. With a 14-9 lead in the set, Mont Alto would take the next seven and go on to win set three 25-11.
