Crusaders Fall 2-1 to Knights

Summerdale, PA– After a hard-fought game, Christendom Men's Soccer Team fell to Central Penn College in their fourth game of the season with a 2-1 loss.

The Crusaders and Knights brought elevated play to the field and fought for possession of the game. By the 21st minute, the Crusaders took the lead, as Joe Madigan (Senior/Lawrence, NJ) buried a PK. Both teams were persistent, and the game remained 1-0 at the end of the first half. 

Despite continuous aggression from the Crusaders, the Knights responded strong in the second half. With only minutes left in the game, the Knights were able to score twice. After an intense battle from both the Crusaders and the Knights, the Knights finished the game with the win 2-1. Although the Crusaders lost, keeper John Hill (Freshman/Spring, TX), had an amazing game saving 14 of 16 shots.
