Game One: Penn State Mont Alto 2, Penn State New Kensington 1
Destiny Hall provided two clutch hits for Penn State Mont Alto in game one of the PSUAC doubleheader against Penn State New Kensington on Monday afternoon. In the first inning, Hall homered, a solo shot to put Mont Alto up 1-0 after two innings of play. Later in the top of the sixth inning, Hall scored Delaney Glazer on a RBI single to push the lead to 2-0.
New Kensington quickly responded in the bottom of the sixth inning, when Kiera Mack scored Addyson Gregg on a two out base hit to cut the deficit to 2-1. Penn State Mont Alto went 1-2-3 in the top of the seventh inning and New Kensington was down to its final three outs. Delaney Glazer closed out her complete game by striking out one and forcing two groundouts in the bottom of the seventh as Mont Alto hung onto a 2-1 win in game one.
Glazer finished the seven innings of work with nine strikeouts and allowing just four hits. Addyson Gregg also went the distance for New Kensington, striking out eight and allowing just five hits.

Game Two: Penn State New Kensington 1, Penn State Mont Alto 0
Pitching was the story once again as both starters pitched complete games with Kirsten Dell going six and striking out four batters and Addyson Gregg pitched seven innings and struck out five batters. The game remained scoreless through five innings of play until Kiera Mack singled to get the rally started for New Kensington with one out in the bottom of the sixth. Madison Hoyt provided the game winning hit two batters later, scoring Mack from second base on her RBI single.
Mont Alto only recorded one hit in the game as they went 1-2-3 to end the top of the seventh to drop game two of the doubleheader to New Kensington by a final of 1-0.
