Lemont Furnace, PA- Penn State Fayette men's basketball suffers a tough loss against Penn State New Kensington.
It was a tough first conference game last night against Penn State New Kensington at home for the men's basketball team. Although a competitive game the ending score resulted in a loss of 82-71.
Despite the loss Dasilas Jones had a strong game with 28 points and 8 rebounds giving his best efforts.
Coach Andy Hedrick spoke on the game, "I think we competed and battled but we had a bad shooting night and we couldn't overcome that. Their size was a tough match up for us."
New Kensington out rebounded Fayette due to their size of seven players that were over 6'4 on their roster.
The Nittany Lions will be looking for a come back this weekend on the road against Penn State Wilkes Barre Friday at 8:00 P.M.
