CONCORD, NH – UMA women's basketball picked up their 4th consecutive YSCC conference victory at NHTI Sunday improving their record to 4-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Moose got off to a slow start and trailed the Lynx for most of the first quarter that ended with NHTI up 22-13. With 2 minutes remaining in the second quarter Hope Butler came up with a big rebound followed by a layup by Kaeti Butterfield made it a 7-point game going into the half. Kaeti Butterfield ignited the Moose offensively in the 2nd half and would go on to finish with a season high 31 points.
Kate Stevens tied the game back up in the 4th quarter making it 57-57 with just under 8 minutes to go. The Moose then took the lead and held off the Lynx for their first regular season road win.
