NEWPORT, R.I.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's basketball team played the Naval Academy Preparatory School in a game deemed an exhibition on Saturday, Feb. 4.
Head Coach Matt Richards commented, "Our trip to NAPS is always good—I feel that playing them is important especially with the commitment their players will be making to our country. The opportunity is also a chance to get our guys some experience late in the year."
Next, the Seawolves will host the Herons from Great Bay Community College on Wednesday, Feb. 8. Tip-off at The HUB is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
