SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine – The Seawolves (2-6-2) picked up their second win of the season as first-year William Perry (Gorham, Maine) and senior Eriksen Shea (Freeport, Maine) notched a pair of goals against a shorthanded Hampshire College team.

It took SMCC just 1:22 to get on the board with Perry finishing off a short kick in front of the goal in the early-going. First-year Jahmani Enking (Buxton, Maine) added a goal in the 11th minute and Perry tallied his second a few minutes later as the Seawolves relentless offensive attack put consistent pressure on the Black Sheep. First-year Alberto Kissaka (Biddeford, Maine), Shea and first-year Griffin Anderson (Waterville, Maine) rounded out the first-half scoring.

First-year Giovani Lopez (Casco, Maine) found Shea in the 65th minute for SMCC's final goal of the game. First-year Ian Allen (Avon, Maine) saved Hampshire's lone shot-on-goal en route to the shutout. Sebastian Dresbach saved 18 shots in goal for Hampshire.

Coach's Thoughts: "It always helps to get out to an early lead and we did a good job of keeping the pressure on even after we were ahead. Hampshire made us work for everything, so credit to them as well." – Head Coach Brian Dougher

Seawolves Stars of the Game:
