Seawolves Win Third Straight, Down VTC 65-46

RANDOLPH, Vt. – The Seawolves were led by sophomore captain Jack Pyzynski (Saco, Maine) with 17 points as they downed the Knights of Vermont Technical College, 65-46, Saturday, Dec. 10.

Pyzynski added four rebounds, three assists and two steals to his total for SMCC. Sophomore captain Thomas Martinotti (Harwinton, Conn,) chipped in 15 points and seven rebounds, and first-year Cayman Warburton (Worcester, Mass.) notched 11 points, four rebounds and three assists. First-year big Colby Dillingham (Norway, Maine) put up six points in seven minutes off the bench.

Jaylon Calvin led Vermont Tech with 15 points, five rebounds and four assists. BJ Jenkins added 12 points.

The Seawolves moved to 10-4 overall and 4-2 in Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) action following their third-straight win. The Knights fell to 3-10 on the season with a 2-3 record against YSCC opponents.

SMCC is back in action on Dec. 14 for a showdown with in-state and conference rival Central Maine Community College. Tip-off at The HUB is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. WATCH
