WBB takes down Trinity Washington

Washington D.C.- Fayette's Women's basketball shows up big against Trinity Washington on the road.

 

Fayette had a big win on Friday night against Trinity Washington with a 74-44 win. Fayette was able to out score in Trinity in the first half 38-27.

Score leaders were Taylor McCormick with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 steals, and Heaven Grum with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Defensively Abby Bickerton had a great game with 13 rebounds.

Coach Hillen spoke about the game, "We had very good balance and players stepped up to the challenge. We know we still have a lot of work but we will get there."

 

Fayette (2-1) will start conference play Tuesday, November 15 at 6:00 P.M. against Penn State New Kensington (0-1) at home. The game wil be a giving food drive for both campus food pantries for students in need. If fans bring a food item there will be free admission to the game.
