Boone Scores Three As Seawolves Roll Hampshire

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women's soccer team shut out Hampshire College 8-0 in non-conference action at Wainwright on Thursday, Oct. 6.

Sophomore captain Jordan Boone (Norridgewock, Maine) recorded her first career hat trick, all three coming in the first half. Sophomore Mackenzie Farnham (South Portland, Maine) netted her third and fourth goals of the season; junior captain Desiree Veilleux (Winslow, Maine), and sophomores Riley Blatchford (Old Orchard Beach, Maine) and Ammelia Lunt (West Gardiner, Maine) each chipped in one.

First-year goalkeepers Grayson Soldati (Portland, Maine) and Mia Pasciuto (Littleton, Mass.) split time to record the clean sheet.

The Seawolves go to 4-1-4 overall, and remain 2-1-1 in conference play.

SMCC returns to Wainwright to host USCAA-Div. 1 Bryant and Stratton- Albany on Saturday, Oct, 8. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
