Word of Life Bible Institute Huskies traveled to Brooklyn, New York to face The King's College Lions to open HVIAC play for the 2022/23 season. The Huskies got the best of the Lions with a 79-72 victory to open up their weekend road trip. The Huskies also had great production from their starters as 4 of their 5 starters scored double-digit points, led by Jaron Williams with 22 points, Quentin Lackey with 16, Matthew Dembinski with 15, and John Shearin with 12.
The Huskies are next in action against Vaughn College Warriors on December 17, 2022, at 3 pm at Elmcor Recreation Center, Corona, NY.
