Moose Power Back But Fall Short Against Knights

Concord, NH - The Men's basketball team saw themselves fall into a early hole against the Berkeley College at the NHTI Classic. The Knights jumped out to a 20-5 run in the games first 5 minutes of play and turned that into a 50-31 halftime lead over the Moose. The Moose came out of the second half hot and saw themselves battled all the way back to take a 76-77 lead with 6:25 remaining in the game on a Elijah Smith three point field goal. The Knights would then take a 80-79 lead on a Karranja Bright lay up and from there they would not look back closing out the game on a 21-11 run over the final 5:25 to beat the Moose 101-90.

The Moose fall to 7-9 (5-1, YSCC) on the season

 

What Happened:

-The Moose came out firing in the second half, shooting 22-31 (71%) from the field. The Moose rolled to a 26-46 run in the second half but couldn't sustain the momentum

-The Moose shoot 5-11 (45.5%) from beyond the arc in the second half

 

 

Inside the Moose:

-The Moose were led by Fraser MacDonald 10-11 (91%) shooting for the field

-Berk Evduzen was 5-6 (83.3%) from the foul line
