Men's Basketball Wins A Thriller

Men's Basketball Wins A Thriller

The men's basketball team hosted Butler County Community College for their first game of the season this weekend.  It was also the team's first official game in the new PAW Center on the DuBois campus.  The team did not disappoint the packed house either as the crowd was on the edge of their seats the entire game.

DuBois' Jaiquil Johnson would have 12 points already going into the half to lead his team up by 4 at the intermission.  DuBois would get a show from their bigs as they would outrebound Butler County, 42-32 including 12 offensive rebounds.  In only 10 minutes of work, Guy Anthony would have 10 points and 4 rebounds while fellow post man Grant Grimaldi would grab 13 rebounds and put up 14 points to help their team win the glass game.  Johnson would end the night with 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists to lead his team to the 74-69 win.

DuBois will be back in action on Wednesday at home when they host Grove City College at 7:00 pm.
