Bucks Clinch Top Seed with Win

Jenkintown, PA. - The Bucks men's basketball clinched the top seed in the ESAC conference with the 100-88 win over Manor College on Thursday evening at the Blue Jays Gymnasium.

Both teams played even the first half of the game with Bucks taking a narrow 3 point lead into the half. As the half progressed, so the the Centurions lead. Bucks was carried by leading scorer, freshman Yasir Rowell (Philadelphia, PA/Simon Gratz) who played all but 1 minute of the contest, score a game high of 39 points going 14-28 from the field and 6-7 from the free through line while also contributing 8 assists. Freshman, Tobias Prall, scored 16, Sophomore, Colin Martin (Holland, PA/Council Rock South) had 15 points, and freshmen, Jaquis Heath (Newtown, PA) score 14 points to help contribute the win.

Bucks record improves 16-5 overall and 5-1 in the ESAC while Harrisburg drops to 5-11 on the season and 2-4 in the ESAC.

The Centurions next game will be on Saturday, February 25th when they host Central Penn College in the ESAC Championship game at 2PM. The teams split the conference games this season with each winning on their home court.
