Baseball Sweeps Williamson in Conference Opener

Newtown, PA. Baseball opens up conference play sweeping Williamson by the scores of 17-4 and 14-4 Wednesday afternoon on March 29, 2023.

Game 1: Bucks secured the victory thanks to 11 runs in the first inning. The Centurions' big inning was driven by singles by Dalton Turner, Cory DiMario, and Brian Comer, doubles by Griff Richardson, Isaac Criss, and Josh McGee, a groundout by Turner, and an error on a ball put in play by Danny Gonzalez.

Ryan Bethel led the Centurions to victory on the pitcher's mound. Bethel surrendered zero runs on one hit over three innings, striking out two and walking one. Luke Redding and Kaden Rogers entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Bucks totaled 13 hits in the game. McGee, Comer, and DiMario each collected multiple hits for Bucks County Centurions. McGee led Bucks County Centurions with four hits in four at bats.

Game 2: Josh McGee drove in four on three hits to lead Bucks County Centurions past Williamson Mechanics 14-4 on Wednesday. McGee drove in runs on a home run in the first and a double in the fourth.

Williamson scored three runs in the fifth inning, but it wasn't enough as the Centurions still came out victorous.

Bucks started early in the first inning as they scored three runs when McGee homered.

The Centurions tallied another four runs in the fifth inning. The offensive came from singles by Dalton Turner and Luke Shahin and a walk by Nick Sodmont.

Kaden Rogers earned the win for Bucks County Centurions. Rogers surrendered zero runs on one hit over two-thirds of an inning, walking zero. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief.

Bucks had 14 hits in the game as McGee, Turner, Jorden Sesar, and Marc Garcia each racked up multiple hits for the hosts. Turner and McGee led the way as they each collected three hits.
