Huskies stung by the Hornets

The Word of Life Bible Institute Huskies welcomed SUNY Broome Hornets on campus for a Saturday afternoon clash. The Huskies playing their final home game before the Christmas break looked to bounce back from their loss on Wednesday night. The Hornets started off strong with a 12-2 run to open the game, the Huskies were able to claw their way back in the late 1^st quarter and early 2^nd Quarter. The Hornets were able to pull away to take a 30-21 lead into the halftime break. In the 3^rd Quarter, the Hornets made some halftime adjustments and started off quickly and never looked back as they were able to double their halftime lead to start the 4^th Quarter. The Huskies were able to trim the lead down to 15 by the final buzzer, but it would be too little too late as the SUNY Broome Hornets defeated the Word of Life Huskies 61-46.

The Huskies' next game is Friday, December 16, 2022, at North Country Community College at 5 pm.
