MBB rallies back for the W

Lemont Furnace, PA- Men's basketball rallies back to win against Franciscan.

Fayette Men's Basketball rallied back to win Saturday against Franciscan. At the half the score didn't look promising for the men's basketball team, trailing 56-45, but when the buzzer hit the second half took a turn. The Nittany Lions out scored their oppennent in the second twenty minutes by 14 points, with a score finally of 95-90. A big part of this second half run was due to Dasilas Jones, scoring 17 points in just the second half with a score total of 32. Defensively Torian Jenkins came up big with 20 rebounds and, 4 steals and 3 blocks. 

Head Coach Andy Hedrick spoke about the game, "I thought we battled really hard in the second half to get back into the game. Torian Jenkins had another great game on the boards with 20 rebounds. Si Jones is consistently giving us offense and Matt Forbes hustle plays kept us in the game when we were struggling."

Fayette (4-0) will start conference play Tuesday, November 15 at 8:00 P.M. against Penn State New Kensington (1-2) at home. The game wil be a giving food drive for both campus food pantries for students in need. If fans bring a food item there will be free admission to the game.
