Mont Alto Captures Lead Early to Defeat New Kensington

New Kensington, PA - New Kensington fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 2-1 loss to Mont Alto on Monday. Mont Alto took the lead on a home run in the second inning. 

The pitching was strong on both sides. Mont Alto pitchers struck out nine, while New Kensington sat down eight. 

Mont Alto got things started in the second inning. Destiny Hall hit a solo homer. 

Delaney Glazer led things off in the pitcher's circle for Mont Alto. The hurler allowed three hits and one run over seven innings, striking out nine and walking zero. 

Addyson Gregg started the game for New Ken. The bulldog went seven innings, allowing two runs on five hits, striking out eight and walking zero. 

Molly Collins, Kiera Mack, and Madison Hoyt all had one hit to lead New Ken.
