Dubois, PA- Softball had a tough road double header, losing to Penn State Dubois.
Fayette had a hard first game against Dubois in the double header, only scoring runs in the first and sixth inning. Fayette's tough innings resulted in a final score of 7-2 in Dubois favor. Fayette rallied back for the second game of the double header with a 3-2 lead heading into the bottom of the seventh, making it a last inning win for Dubois. Dubois scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh, making Fayette lose 4-3.
Fayette will continue their road trip by heading to the other side of the state this upcoming weekend to take on Penn State Brandywine and Penn State Schuylkill. These two matchups will be important as Fayette Softball looks to gain momentum for a playoff picture.
