The Villa Maria Vikings were welcomed to Word of Life for their first conference meeting and the first meeting between the 2 schools. The Vikings got off to a great start, but the Huskies were able to keep up a little bit, but the Vikings kept their cool and took a 48-33 lead at the half. The second half was all Villa Maria, the Vikings started off well and poor shooting from the Huskies solidified the Vikings to a 93-49 victory over the Huskies.
