Brandywine Completes Perfect PSUAC Slate

MEDIA, Pa. -- The Penn State Brandywine men's soccer team completed its conference slate with a 20-0 victory over Penn State Hazleton on Monday afternoon, finishing off a perfect 9-0 league season for the sixth consecutive year.

Chris Manful (Baltimore, Md./Woodlawn) netted six of Brandywine's 14 first-half goals, giving him 30 on the season, and added an assist.

Jayden Barragan (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) tallied two goals and two assists, while Christian Zavala (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett) and Alexis Cordova Bernal (Oxford, Pa./Avon Grove) both collected a goal and two assists.

Lex Smith (Centreville, Va./ASU Preparatory Academy), Robbie Warren (Waldorf, Md./Westlake) and Sammy Amin (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) all found the back of the net twice. Overall, Brandywine had 11 goal scorers.

William Manarpaac (Boerne, Texas./Samuel V. Champion) went untested to earn the win in goal, while Hazleton keeper Bryce Dalpiaz stopped 30 shots.

Brandywine (16-0-2, 9-0 PSUAC) closes out the regular season Tuesday at 4:00 PM at Christendom.
