Media, PA- New Kensington fell short of their 11th straight victory yesterday, as they traveled to PSU Brandywine with first place aspirations. Brandywine scored two goals in the first 25 minutes of play, and never looked back on their way to a 4-0 victory over our beloved Lions.

The Lions could not get anything going offensively, as they were outshot 20-6 on the afternoon. New Kensington had six different players register a shot, none of which found their way past the net minder.

Freshman goalkeeper Andrew Haus (Cheswick, PA) was solid in net for New Kensington, allowing only 4 goals on 20 shot attempts from a Brandywine team that finished with 10 corner kicks on the day.

The loss drops New Kensington to 11-2 overall 7-1 in the PSUAC. The Lions will look to solidify 2nd place in the conference as they play host to PSU Lehigh Valley this afternoon at the athletic field.
