The Huskies celebrated Senior Night on Tuesday evening as the Huskies faced off against the Villa Maria Vikings. The Huskies honored Audree Marburger (#5) and Melody Parker (#24) as they played in the final home game of their collegiate careers. Melody Parker became the first female athlete at Word of Life to play all 4 years in any of the athletic programs.
And while the Vikings the victory over the Huskies, it was a hard fight, and just about everyone on the Huskies was able to help keep them in the game. The Huskies will miss having Audree Marburger and Melody Parker on the team next season, but wish them all the best!
The Huskies' next game will be at the WNIT Bible College Tournament on February 16 hosted by Appalachian Bible College. (Check the Schedule for game time specifics as they are subject to change).
