Lemont Furnace, PA- Fayette women's basketball gets big win over Dubois.
Women's basketball had a big game against 4th PSUAC West ranked PSU Dubois last night. Still down senior point guard Taylor McCormick, the team stepped up in Fayette basketball fashion with a win of 58-49 over Dubois.
Leading the team was Takiah Cheathon with 16 points and 7 steals. Stephanie Taylor played amazing defense, rallying 16 rebounds, 10 of which were defensive.
By achieving this win, it will put the team in 4th place in the PSUAC West, which is playoff range for the Nittany Lions.
Fayette will play on the road Tuesday, January 24th at PSU New Kensington at 6:00 P.M.
