BROCKTON, Mass.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's soccer team was ousted 6-0 in their season opener at Massasoit Community College on Friday, Sept. 2.
The Warriors netted four in the first half and added two more in the second.
Head Coach Brian Dougher commented, "In every loss, there's a lesson. Caps off to a very talented Massasoit squad—we look forward to getting back to our brand at Wainwright next week."
The Seawolves look to bounce back in their home opener on Wednesday, Sept. 7 against the Knights from Northern Essex Community College. Kickoff at Wainwright Recreation Complex is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
