IN A FIERCE BATTLE-BOBCATS ARE DEFEATED IN OVERTIME 68-74

The Women's Bryant & Stratton College-Albany basketball Team will have to wait just a little bit longer. The Lady Bobcats matched up against Pratt Institute on the road Sunday, January 19th on their fourth consecutive game on the road. Hungry for the win with a string of losses, the team finished the first quarter 14-7 after earning the first 7 points of the game. The momentum on both sides proved the battle was more than just a win -but to turn around their seasons.
The overtime final score finished at 68-74 after a Bobcats run upsetting Pratt Cannoneers with a lengthy lead change. Even though Albany led in points int the paint: 34 compared to Pratt's 10, 3-point shots ran short for the away team when Pratt sunk 6 out of 21 compared to the 'Cats 2-12. Albany missed out on put-backs with Pratt's rebounding dominating enough to hold the ball longer-transitioning into points.

Anyla Harper had a double-double night with 13 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 assists.
Madison Perez led the team in scoring with 20 points. Perez also led with 6 assists keeping the ball moving in her typical fashion. During Lauren Feldman's 17 minutes on the court, scoring 13 points and pulling down 5 rebounds and an assist-Feldman;s more aggressive defense and shooting the ball more is adding to the score point options.
The Bobcats play again with little rest still on the road vs Penn State-Scranton January 21st @6:00 p.m.
