Fuller's Career Night, Dorissaint's Double-Double Pace Bobcats in Dominant Victory
BUFFALO, NY - A career night from Denzel Fuller and another double-double from Sam Dorissaint led the Bryant & Stratton Buffalo Bobcats to their third consecutive win on Tuesday night as they dominated from start to finish, sweeping the season series over Villa Maria with an 80-61 win.
BUFFALO, NY - A career night from Denzel Fuller and another double-double from Sam Dorissaint led the Bryant & Stratton Buffalo Bobcats to their third consecutive win on Tuesday night as they dominated from start to finish, sweeping the season series over Villa Maria with an 80-61 win.
Fuller scored a career-high 22 points and went 4-of-6 from three point range. He was 8-of-14 from the field and also grabbed seven rebounds and had two steals. Dorissaint scored a game-high 23 points and secured 10 rebounds to go along with five blocks. Buffalo held the Vikings to just 14 points in the first half and led by 16 after 20 minutes, never looking back.
B&SC Buffalo jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the first four minutes and led 16-4 midway through the first half. They held the Vikings to just 25 percent from the floor and without a three-point make. Buffalo forced 12 turnovers in the first half. Freshman Danny Turkvan led Buffalo with two steals in the half.
Buffalo led by as many as 31 in the second half. Fuller opened the second half with a three to extend the lead to 19. Moments he scored on a layup inside before Dorissaint finished a tough bucket. After a layup inside by Villa to cut the deficit to 17, Buffalo rattled off eight straight points which featured another three from Fuller, two free throws from Davon Ware, and a layup by Turkvan. After another Villa bucket broke that run, the Bobcats rattled off another 8-0 run which was started by Fuller's fourth three and finished with a dunk and three from Dorissaint.
Four players were in double-figures for the Bobcats as Turkvan and sophomore RaeQuan Scott each scored 12. Ware finished with seven points and five assists.
THE SERIES
This was eighth meeting all-time between the Bobcats and Vikings. B&SC holds a 6-2 record in the series.

The Bobcats will be back in action on Thursday when they travel to Rochester for an 8:30 p.m. tip against Bryant & Stratton Rochester.
