Buffalo Hangs Tough but Drops First Game of Season to Roberts Wesleyan
ROCHESTER, NY - Despite forcing 28 turnovers, the Bryant & Stratton Buffalo Bobcats were unable to overcome a hot shooting night from Roberts Wesleyan as the Redhawks handed Buffalo it's first loss of season, 75-62 on Tuesday evening inside the Voller Athletic Center.
ROCHESTER, NY - Despite forcing 28 turnovers, the Bryant & Stratton Buffalo Bobcats were unable to overcome a hot shooting night from Roberts Wesleyan as the Redhawks handed Buffalo it's first loss of season, 75-62 on Tuesday evening inside the Voller Athletic Center.
The game marked Buffalo's first ever against an NCAA II opponent and they showed that they belonged. Senior Alissa Johnson led the way with 14 points while sophomore Mary Caldwell scored 13 off the bench, but the Bobcats were unable to shoot a high percentage from the floor, leaving them unable to climb out of a second-half hole.
UP NEXT
The Bobcats will remain on the road and travel to Potsdam, NY to take on Clarkson University at 2 p.m. This will be the first ever meeting between the Bobcats and Golden Knights.
