Isom Shines, Jordan Eclipses 1K, as Bobcats Sweep Kickoff Classic
BUFFALO, NY - The great thing about this 2022-23 Bryant & Stratton Buffalo squad, is that it can be a different player every night. That was the case on Sunday as it was junior transfer forward Chy Isom leading the way with a career-night in the Bobcats' 95-38 win over Central Penn to sweep the weekend at the Bobcat Kickoff Classic.

That was the case on Sunday as it was junior transfer forward Chy Isom leading the way with a career-night in the Bobcats' 95-38 win over Central Penn to sweep the weekend at the Bobcat Kickoff Classic.
Isom finished with 27 points and 14 rebounds, going 12-of-19 from the field and also dishing out three assists. The junior was dominant throughout, scoring 17 in the first half had another dominating first half. After opening the game on a 28-0 run on Saturday against Andrews, and shutting them out in the first half 26-0, Buffalo outscored the Knights 23-2 in the first quarter on Sunday en route to a 48-16 halftime lead.
Lost in the shuffle of Isom's dominant performance was junior Armoni Jordan eclipsing 1,000 career points. After leaving the game early with an injury, she returned in the second half to reach the career milestone. She became the fourth player in program history to eclipse the milestone while a member of the Buffalo Bobcats.
Seniors Charm Stone and Tamia Tart each scored 16 as well with Stone also securing 15 rebounds, and Tart dishing out five assists. Shannon Bandoo also chipped in 12 off the bench.
For the game, Buffalo shot 48.8 percent and held the Knights to just 24.2 percent. They held advantages on the boards (60-35), assists (27-9), bench points (60-16), and second chance points (22-6). Buffalo also forced 29 turnovers, leading to 32 points. Buffalo's 95 points came with only 11 attempted threes as well.
UP NEXT
The Bobcats will be back next Saturday, November 12th when they host the Bobcat Bash at Buffalo State College. They will take on a pair of NAIA foes as Point Park awaits on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Carlow on Sunday at 2 p.m.
