In their 2^nd matchup of the season the Lady builders were able to add another victory over the Mid-Atlantic Christian Mustangs winning 63-69.

The Lady Builders started off slow, trailing in the 1^st quarter but gained momentum in the 2^nd quarter taking a 33-26 lead heading into the break. The builders maintained a 10-point lead for the majority of the contest with the largest lead being 15 in the 3^rd quarter with 1:35 remaining. The Builders dominated the boards with 53 rebounds and 38 points in the paint.

The mustangs closed the gap to 3 points in the back half of the 4^th quarter but a fast-break layup by Jamica Jones and free throw by Alena Puaauli-Pelham would hold them over enough to secure the win over the Mustangs 63-69.

The Lady Builders had four players score in double figures with Aquazia Jones and Alexis Wethington leading the way with 16 points and both with double digit rebounds. Brittany Jones put up 12 points for the builders while Jamica Jones came off the bench and also contributed 12 points.

The Lady Builders return to action on Saturday as they host Johnson & Wales as part of a doubleheader with the men's basketball team. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. for the women's basketball game followed by the men's basketball game at 4 p.m.
