Vanessa Michael of Penn State Hazleton earns this week’s Softball Player of the Week honors. In a double-header against Penn State Schuylkill, Michael hit a grand slam in her second at bat of the opening game. The third basemen hit her second home run of the day in her first place appearance in game two, to finish the day with 10 RBIs. Later in the week she went yard for the third time and finished the game 2-2 with four RBIs, bringing her to 14 RBIs on the week.
