Kelsel Thompson is a higher education professional with extensive experience in  student affairs and engagement as well as student persistence including 20 years as a Dean of Students.  Kelsel served three years as the Athletic Director at Paul Quinn College. She has also served as the faculty athletic representative and in game day administration.  As the AD, Paul Quinn College moved from club to intercollegiate status in men and women’s soccer. Also during her tenure, student athlete participation increased by 150% by year three.  

Thompson has served as the Dean of Students at Paul Quinn College and currently serves the PQC Plano Site Director and External Affairs Manager.

Kelsel Thompson received undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in Engineering Technology and a Master’s from Miami University in College Student Personnel Services.
