Despite being an underdog in Tuesday afternoon's road battle with defending Eastern States Athletic Conference champions Central Penn College, the Williamson soccer team gave it all they could and managed to keep things close until allowing two late goals to seal their fate in a 4-0 defeat.
The game was scoreless until the 28th minute when Central Penn scored to go up 1-0. They then added a second goal with just over 11 minutes left in the half to go into the break up 2-0.
Williamson would then keep the Knights at bay until the end of the game when they would score two more goals in the final 15 minutes to seal the victory, 4-0.
Aaron O'Keeffe had 15 saves in net for the Mechanics.
Williamson's record now stands at 3-2-1. They take on Bucks County Community College at home on Thursday night beginning at 6:30 P.M. Williamson will face a tall task in that one as well, having only defeated the Centurions once in school history.
