HOW THEY SCORED: Brandywine started the game with a leadoff single from Arianna Segich who would score on a sacrifice bunt from Robyn Gannon in the first.  Brandywine added a second run in the second as Julie Foeldes hit a leadoff triple and scored on a Grace DeRosa groundout.

Segich scored again in the fifth inning on an error by Beaver, giving Brandywine a 3-0 lead.

In their last at bat, Beaver's first two batters reached safely and a stolen base by Searra Thumm put runners on the corners.  Vanessa Jackson hit a sacrifice fly to score Thumm, making the score 3-1 which would be the final score of the game as Brandywine forced Beaver to leave two runners on base to close the game.

BEHIND THE BOX SCORE: Brandywine was led by their starting pitcher, Katie DeStefano who limited Beaver to just two hits in the game.  Offensively, she saw support from Segich who went 2 for 3 and Julie Foeldes who went 1 for 2 with a triple to lead off the second inning.

Beaver's hits came off the bats of Brenna Cepull and Jenna Petrucci, with Petrucci hitting a double in the sixth.  On the mound was Vanessa Jackson who threw the complete game facing 25 batters, striking out 5 and giving up 4 hits.
