USCAA Promotes Jeremy Hutton to Administrator of Marketing, Events, and Membership Services

The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) has announced the hiring of Jeremy Hutton as the Administrator of Marketing, Events, and Membership Services. Hutton will serve as a primary contact between the National Office and USCAA membership, lead the association’s marketing and publicity efforts, and work closely with Director of Championship, Phillip Hines, to further the experience and quality of USCAA National Championships.   

Hutton had worked part-time with the association as its Coordinator of Marketing and Events the last two years. He started with the USCAA in 2014-15 as an undergraduate intern.

“We’re excited to add Jeremy to the USCAA family on a full-time basis,” states USCAA Executive Director Matthew Simms.  “He’s gained considerable knowledge of our association and the functional areas in which he’ll be tasked, allowing for a seamless transition into this role. His addition will allow us to continue improving the quality of our member’s experience as part of the USCAA.”  

“Jeremy has done an outstanding job over the last three years assisting in the National Office’s operations,” added Michael Goodman, USCAA Associate Director and Chief Operating Office. “He’s had his hands in every aspect of what we do and built strong relationships with our members. Jeremy has shown himself to be skilled in all areas this job entails and we’re proud to keep him as part of this organization.”

After finishing his initial internship with the USCAA in 2014, Hutton continued his education with Old Dominion University. He graduated with his Master’s Degree in Sport Management in May 2017.

Prior to college, the Virginia Beach native was a decorated soccer player at Kempsville High School. He continued playing soccer at the club level with Old Dominion. He’s officiated soccer for 10 years, working his way through the ranks to now officiate semi-professional, collegiate, and high school matches across the state of Virginia.
