Johnson & Wales University-Charlotte Lead USCAA Golf Championships After Day One
With four players inside the top 10, Johnson & Wales University-Charlotte shot 13-over-par 301 on Monday to take the opening round lead in the 2022 USCAA National Championships at the Penn State University Blue Course.
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- With four players inside the top 10, Johnson & Wales University-Charlotte shot 13-over-par 301 on Monday to take the opening round lead in the 2022 USCAA National Championships at the Penn State University Blue Course.
Ryan Regner of the Wildcats is tied with Logan Snyder of Penn State York for the individual lead at one-under-par 71. Luke Cochran of Johnson & Wales is alone in third at two-over 74, while Jeremy Harper of Penn State Hazleton (75) and Ethan Flanders of The Apprentice School (76) round out the top five.
Joining Harper and Regner in the top ten are Logan Jarrett who is tied for sixth (77), and Landon Le Clerc who is tied for tenth (79).
Mississippi University for Women is in second place at 317, followed by Penn State Hazleton (321), Apprentice School (324) and Penn State York (329) to round out the team top five.
In the women’s invitational, Michaela Hawkins of Johnson & Wales is the low individual at an 80, with Ta’Dashia Flowers of Mississippi University for Women at 81.
